Foundry & Lux, A Casual Yet Chic Restaurant Complex

San Francisco's food scene is a dynamic celebration of cultlure, innovation, and comfort-foods. Foundry & Lux is no exception to the list of great places to grab a quick bite to eat in the area and maybe make a new connection.

"Foundry & Lux is a casual yet chic restaurant complex that includes a café for morning coffee, juices, and lighter fare; a large market hall that offers a wide array of lunch options; and a lounge with wood burning pizza oven, bar, bowling lanes, pool table, and outdoor fireplace seating"

Our Brady restaurant chairs and barstools flood the beautifully executed space. Designed by architect Stephen Francis Jones of SFJones Architects, who is known for his unique ability to design highly crafted spaces that create social experiences and foster conversation and connection.

Inspired by San Francisco's "industrial" past the complex mixes industrial elements like reclaimed wood and steel beams with luxurious elements creating a perfectly curated juxtaposition of styles that is familiar yet fresh.

The space is home to three different concepts overseen by Executive Chef Jean-Claude Balek, a coffeeshop and cafe with light fare, a casual lunch space and then a dinner area with inventive wood fired pizzas and artisan sandwiches, all ingredients driven by locally sourced, sustainably harvested ingredients. The space also is home to two bowling lanes, and boccee ball court, and a pool, making this more of an entertainment center than just an eatery.

Solid wood tops in a rich warm tone, paired with an industrial inspired Graphite finish celebrates the hand-crafted nature of our steel chairs and barstools. The Brady collection (featured above) is comprehensive collection of restaurant chairs, barstools, and tables designed for high-use, commercial spaces. Solid wood seats and back play nicely with the steel frame, wood stains and metal frames can be specified in a wide array of colors and finishes.
