It’s summer, so naturally we have burgers on our mind (hence this recent burger restaurant post, too). And there’s no space cooler nor refreshing than Burgers 99 of Los Angeles, California. Designed by Jet Black and Stone Cold, this small LA burger joint features a minimal yet playful design.

Burgers 99 has seating for about 10 people with more seating on their outdoor patio. The interior feels restrained in the best way possible. Think all-white, clean sharp lines, and tinges of neon. Minimal--but not too serious--design at its best.

Concrete floors, square white tiles, and white walls create a bleached backdrop for sparse yet brightly colored accents. The angular and minimal Half Hurdle chairs and Hurdle barstools are finished with their natural white oak seat and custom blue powder coat colors. Simple red pill-shaped lights pop against the milky white walls. The intentional lack of color even makes the red ketchup bottles feel artful.

Like their pared down burger creations, the Burgers 99 interior is playful minimalism at its finest. For more inspiring fast casual or quick serve restaurant design, check out any of these spaces below:
